{"id":6734,"date":"2025-11-03T13:24:07","date_gmt":"2025-11-03T12:24:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ostersjostiftelsen.se\/?p=6734"},"modified":"2025-11-03T13:24:09","modified_gmt":"2025-11-03T12:24:09","slug":"upcoming-calls-for-proposals-in-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ostersjostiftelsen.se\/en\/upcoming-calls-for-proposals-in-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"Upcoming calls for proposals in 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In 2026, the Foundation will announce the following types of grants:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Two- and three-year projects<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Postdoctoral projects<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Smaller grants:<ul><li>Research networks<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Conference grants<\/li><\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Publication grants<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The call for grand projects will be on pause in 2026 and is planned to be announced again in 2027. The Foundation encourages researchers to apply for funding for research networks in 2026 in order to prepare for a future application to the call for grand projects in 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The special call for proposals on the theme <em>the War in Ukraine and its Consequences<\/em> was held in 2025 and will not be repeated in 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>See more information about the types of grants under <a href=\"https:\/\/ostersjostiftelsen.se\/en\/for-researchers\/\">For researchers<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\">Changes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Calls for two- and three-year projects and postdoctoral projects will continue without any major changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Calls for smaller grants \u2013 research networks, conference and publication grants \u2013 will be announced <strong>twice a year,<\/strong> once in the spring and once in the autumn. A <strong>maximum amount of SEK 250,000<\/strong> per application will be introduced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\">Important dates<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-nowrap is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-ad2f72ca wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>15 December 2025 at 9 a.m. CET<\/strong> &#8211; all calls for applications open.
